Same in graphic design?

As we know, there is a lack of women (or better visible women?) in webdesign, but what about graphics?

Here I found an article about the reality in page-online: https://page-online.de/kreation/pionierinnen-des-grafikdesigns/?omhide=true&utm_source=page_daily_nl&utm_campaign=Lebenswirklichkeiten_statt_Hype__Illustrationen_f%c3%bcr_die_DEVK_17032022&utm_medium=email

There is one sentence which is typical for all you women and men who try to focus women in care and traditional positions:

… hard to believe Söre Popitz was the only femal Bauhaus student who later worked as graphic designer. She left the school after two years, because she should switch to the weave class – the usual procedure for women in this institution …

Even if it was between the wars, but isn’t it still the same today? Women often tend to care, and work in jobs instead of career? Work for their men an stand behind.
